Where to go when pandemic arrives.

You need to take all the necessary precautions and measures that the medical community is telling us to take. If you need help in taking these precautions, like finding a mask, we can help with that.

If you are feeling ill, you need to consult your Doctor right away, or go to the hospital. Below is a list of places to go or consult after you have contacted your primary care physician, for other means of assistance non-health related. If you need help in getting the help you need, just click the “I need help button” at the bottom of the page.

Below are organizations where you can begin to find help in the city of New Bedford.

1. United Way of Greater New Bedford - “Help United” response fund provides immediate help for families in need who have been impacted by COVID-19.  Fill out an application online here.

2. YMCA offering emergency childcare for essential workers (must provide employee verification).  Download forms here, fill them out, and bring them with you.

“No one needs to be left finding help on their own. No one needs to walk through a crisis by themselves. No one needs to feel like they have no one in their corner who cares. We are here. We care.”
